Friends of the Jane Pickens Theater (JPTF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to keeping Arts and Culture alive in Newport, RI. Guided by our board of directors, Friends provides fundraising, volunteer, and community outreach programs that enrich the community and preserve the historic Jane Pickens Theater as a venue for current and future generations.

We encourage all residents, businesses, and groups to become proactively involved with the Friends organization. Help us reach our goals by attending films and events at the Jane Pickens, volunteering your time or services, or by making tax-deductable donations. You can “become a star” and support the Arts in Newport today by purchasing a Friends Membership card. Membership fees fund our ongoing efforts, while providing you with discounted ticket prices, free gifts, and most of all, peace of mind knowing the Arts will always have a proper home in Newport, Rhode Island.
